Please read through the Terms and Conditions supplied on this page and reach out with any questions or concerns.

Introduction
By submitting an entry to TVIES Streaming Television Awards™, you (referred to as “the Entrant”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before submitting your entry.

Confidentiality and Public Disclosure
2.1 Confidentiality: All information submitted by the Entrant will be treated with confidentiality. The Awards organizers and judges commit to not disclose or use any part of the submissions for any purpose other than evaluation for the Awards, except as specified in section 2.2.
2.2 Public Disclosure: The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that certain information, including but not limited to the Entrant’s bio and specific sections of the application form designated within the submission process, may be made public if the Entrant is shortlisted for an Award. This information may be featured in promotional materials related to the Awards, such as guides, articles, and social media posts. Winners agree to be featured on a streaming awards show and as part of campus programs/events.

Judges and Non-Disclosure Agreement
3.1 Judge Confidentiality: All judges of the Awards have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) committing them to maintain the confidentiality of all submissions. They will not share, discuss, or use any information from the submissions outside of their duties in evaluating the entries for the Awards.

Entry Submission
4.1 Eligibility: The Entrant must ensure that their submission complies with the eligibility criteria set forth by the Awards organizers. Ineligible submissions may be disqualified.
4.2 Accuracy of Information: The Entrant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided in their submission. Inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete submissions may be disqualified.

Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership: The Entrant retains ownership of all intellectual property rights in their submission. However, by submitting an entry, the Entrant grants the Awards organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and publish the submitted information in connection with the Awards, including promotional purposes.

General
6.1 Changes to Terms: The Awards organizers reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Entrants will be bound by any revised terms if they continue to participate in the Awards process after changes to the terms and conditions have been made.
6.2 Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware/USA, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of DE/USA.

Disqualification Criteria
7.1 Violation of Guidelines: Entries that violate the guidelines set forth by the Awards organizers may be disqualified. These violations include, but are not limited to, plagiarism, hate speech, or inappropriate content.
7.2 Incomplete Submissions: Entries that are incomplete or fail to meet the submission requirements (such as missing information, incorrect file formats, or incomplete forms) may be disqualified.

Prizes and Recognition
8.1 Prize Details: Two winners will be chosen in each Category (C1-C8 and T1-T8, plus an additional two awards in the "Wildcard" Category), for a total of 34 awards per calendar year. Best of Category and RunnerUp Winners will receive trophies, certificates, and other forms of recognition.
8.2 Public Announcement: By participating in the Awards, Entrants agree that their names, bios, and winning entries may be publicly announced on the Awards website, social media channels, and other promotional materials.

Indemnification
9.1 Liability: The Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Awards organizers, judges, and any affiliated parties from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to their participation in the Awards.

Severability
10.1 Invalid Provisions: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Age Eligibility
11.1 Minimum Age: Entrants must be at least 15 years old to participate in the Digital Awards Show. Proof of age may be required upon request.
11.2 Parental Consent: If an Entrant is under the age of 18, they must obtain parental or legal guardian consent to participate. By submitting an entry, the Entrant confirms that they have obtained such consent.

Submission Format Requirements
Once your application has been processed and approved, you will receive an invitation to upload your entry to our secure portal for award judging. Video must be shot in at least 720p HD.
12.1 File Formats: All submissions must be in the following acceptable file formats:

Audio: MP3, WAV

Images: JPEG, PNG

Documents: PDF, DOCX
12.2 Resolution and Quality: Videos and images should be of high quality and resolution. Poorly compressed or pixelated content may affect the judging process.
12.3 File Naming: Please name your files clearly, including your category, description and submission title
(e.g., “C-1_Short Video_Dreams.mp4”).
12.4 Content Guidelines: Ensure that your submission adheres to the content guidelines specified in Section 4.1. Any violations may result in disqualification.
